About Ceramics / Applications

All we know that the metals and its mixtures are used for the production of automobiles, machinery, airplanes, buildings and an undetermined amount of possible useful things. But the metal production would not be possible without the use of a ceramic material refractory call. The refractory become possible the nuclear construction of high siderurgy ovens and trunks that are the heart of the modern industry.

The refractory can resist the volatile conditions and of high temperatures found in the processing of metals. The refractory ceramics are equally material beneficial for other industries. Chemistries, petroleum, energetic conversion, glass and other ceramic industries trust the refractory materials. To support these requests and in function of the nature of the same ones, innumerable types of products had been developed, from different raw materials or mixture of these. Of this form we can classify the refractory products, how much the raw material or main chemical component in: silica, sílico-aluminoso, aluminise, mulita, magnesiano-chromatic, chromatic-magnesiano, carbonate of silicon, graphite, carbon, zirconium, zirconia, esplénico and others.
