Who We are

The CTCV - Technological Centre of Ceramics and Glass - it is an institution of public utility, without lucrative ends, created in 1987 for technical support and the technological promotion of the national industries of ceramics, glass and similar and comparable sectors.

Endowed with technical and financial autonomy, it makes use of its own patrimony of associative character, mainly private, constituted by the Industrial Associations of the sector, dependent organisms of the Ministry of the Economy and companies.


What We do

Technical, technological and scientific support to the industries of ceramics, glass and similar and comparable sectors;

Promotion of the development and quality of the product and of the industrial process;

Support to the specialized formation of industry technicians;

Promotion, execution and dynamization of investigation works and technological development in materials and processes;;

Spreading of information scientific and technical information to the companies.
