In CENCAL a simulation of a small company is made so that the students in formation can have a close contact with the manufacturing reality. They observe all the manufacturing process, from the time when the model is made to the time when the ceramic is fired ending painting process. To the students that are away from home, CENCAL has a capacity to receive about half a hundred boarder students. In the accommodations there is a cafeteria, refectory, a social room, library and study room. It also has a playing field and cultural activities` rooms.

Receiving young people looking for their first job or professionals searching for continuous formation in our courses, CENCAL has been giving fundamental support to this important sector of national economy.

One particularly area CENCAL as been given special attention is the creative ceramics, organizing workshops periodically, conferences and seminars or receiving in their installations investigators, artists, designers and technicians from all over the world, so that they can realize their projects.

One of the sectors of CENCAL that is direct to the companies is the Laboratory. Equipped with adequate instruments to ceramics, this laboratory is intended for giving technological and laboratorial support to the sector, at the same time as it develops Techno-Pedagogical Consult to Ceramic Companies.
