The principal markets of destiny for this products are: France, Germany, United Kingdom, Holland and United States of America.

Portuguese production of ceramic tile represents 1,7% of world production and represents 4.3% of the European Union production. In a world rank the majors are producers, in this market are: China and, in European Union, Spain and Italy.

In this sub-sector, certified companies obtain 60% of the ceramic tile production.
