• To find necessary conditions to continue the ceramic sector modernization and make the competitiveness of the companies that make part of it stronger.

For that:

• We have effective collaborators and consulters to respond to solicitations requested by Official Organisms or by the associates;

• We take care and coordinate activities related and developed from CTCV and CENCAL for technological and professional formation areas;

• We participate actively in all the actions that allow the teaching of ceramics in the Department of Ceramics in the University of Aveiro and the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo;

• We participate in meetings that occur in the European Federation circuit of the ceramic sector, and in national meetings that report in any other way the industry that we represent.

All that, in order to:

• give information that serves the interests of management

• promote or support relevant projects for the industry

• increase projects in the companies´ cooperation area

• develop initiatives and collaborate in areas with special impact on the sector, such questions as environment, energy and fuel, grow materials, teaching and professional formation, hygiene and security, quality, and so on.
